Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

It has been now two years since I moved to the states, and  I can't help but think about how much I've changed or the things I have learned about myself, I didn't know before I moved...So here are some of these thoughts..
The area I grew up in is mostly forest, and I never thought that I would miss the forest, the smell of it, the rain and the cold air, so much that I can physically feel how much I miss it..appreciate the nature that surrounds you. I never thought that I would love palm trees that much, I still get excited when I see palm trees, even though I have been surrounded by them for the last two years, I just still can't believe it. What I had to realize pretty fast is the fact that being stuck in traffic everyday, is a normality, at least in California, so if you're planning on moving to California..

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

It's been ages since I uploaded here, I know..but I'm finally back, and it feels so, so, so good! But I'm not going to make any promises, because I still have to figure out how often I will upload, because to be's been really long since I uploaded on a regular basis and I'm not going to lie..I have to go back in that mode..because I'm still not in it, but I will get there...I also know that this blog hasn't been really active and I initially just wanted to upload here for random things, that I felt wouldn't fit anywhere else..well, a lot changed since then..I'm moving now officially from Maria's Fashion Day! to this blog (Purple.Mas) ..No, I'm not quitting fashion, I just feel that I have so much more to talk about then just one subject, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this change is long overdue..I just feel that I outgrew my old blog and it's time for a new name and a new blog,..I'm not going to lie, this step was so much harder to take than it seems, I wouldn't know how to explain it, but I'm also very excited for every new thing that will come my way, since so many new things already have happened in the last few months.

The most important thing, well at least to me,..I want this place to be r e a l l y  r a w, I don't want to just touch the surface of a subject, I don't want to just talk about purses and shoes, not only about happiness and smiles..because there is so much more out there...and I can't wait to show you...

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

This post is the last one for my "local foods"..I just thought three is a good number to finish this up and I really hope you guys liked reading it and maybe you're even going to check out some of the restaurants...The thing I will miss most about this place is most definitely the food, there are just so many great places to eat and there are pretty much all in one spot, it can't get better than this if you ask me..So today's restaurant is "Clay Oven Grill & Bar"..aka the best Indian food I've ever eaten in my entire life, I'm is that good! I don't even want to talk too much about it, just go and see for won't regret it.

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

Who doesn't like burgers? I don't know one single person who said I don't like burgers, but I did hear people saying that they don't like beer, but I'm sharing this restaurant with you because of the amazing burgers of course and not the beer, side note the beer is also really good, and if you're a little veggie just like me, I got you back..because they have the most amazing veggie burgers ever. This place is in Davis, (northern) California. Davis is pretty much a College town, and in the middle of this city/town you will find Burgers & Brew, but be aware this place is always, I mean always packed and there is usually at all times a waiting line in front of it, but don't turn it down because of a little (or more) waiting, you will love these Burgers and a little tip ..order the salad instead of regular french fries, the salad is really great and goes hand in hand with their big burgers.

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

Since I'm moving away from Northern California I thought it's maybe a good idea to recommend some local restaurants here in the bay area, for those who are maybe visiting and want to try some restaurants that are not food chains, not that there is anything wrong with that, but I find it's always nice to find a little local place, I don't know why it just feels kinda special. So, because of that I will share my favourite places to eat up here, let me know your favourite places in the Los Angeles area, since I'm moving down there, down below in the comments..

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

The day has come to finally do a "life update" and since things are happening..I thought let's do this now..So, I did mentioned it already on my other blog, but I'm moving ..again, after almost two years of living here my husband and I decided it's time for something new and a change. This move isn't as drastic as the one two years ago, but after all it is a almost 7 hour car ride, but still in the same state. So, we're moving from Northern California to Southern California. I know it doesn't sound like a change but it is still for me and I'm excited how it is to actually live there and not just to visit, so that should be fun, but of course as always everything interesting will be documented on here..But we also already know that this will not be our last destination, because the world is simple too beautiful to just settle down ..for now.

Hello everybody..I hope you're all well!

We only spent few short hours in this town, however it was such a nice experience. It was a outside-the-states-in-the-states kinda thing. Solvang is a little city in California that was founded around 1911 by a group of danish people. As a huge fan of history, it's always great to visit places that have so much to tell. This little city was very charming, and we're lucky enough to be there for a farmers market. Unfortunately because we were there only for a very short time, I didn't had the chance to take more pictures, but I still wanted to share this trip with you guys, because I never hear anyone talk about it and obviously when you think about California the majority of people thinks about palm trees and the beach, so it's nice to show something else for a change. The people were nice, the weather was good, the food was delicious, the architecture was great to be honest it did reminded me a lot of Bavaria in Germany. It was a short but sweet visit.
